Im Zwischenraum is a contemporary art exhibition exploring the idea of the in‑between space—the social, political, and emotional zones where transformation, tension, and transition occur. The show brings together artists who work with critical pop art, neo‑pop, collage, and visual commentary to examine the shifting realities of today’s world.

Venezuelan‑Swiss artist Honys Torres participates with two powerful works: Top! Angebot and Achtung! Wir ziehen um, both part of her ongoing exploration of identity, capitalism, global politics, and Swiss cultural icons.

Top! Angebot

A vibrant neo‑pop collage that reinterprets Banksy’s Vietnam motif through a Swiss lens. Here, Heidi walks hand‑in‑hand with Mickey Mouse and Ronald McDonald, symbolizing the seductive promise of capitalism and the “best offer” of living in Switzerland. The work reflects on Swiss–U.S. relations, consumer culture, and the hidden cost behind every “perfect deal.”

Achtung! Wir ziehen um

A satirical portrait of the 2023–2024 UBS–Credit Suisse merger, featuring Giger’s Alien as a Swiss banking executive celebrating the acquisition. Heidi, echoing Banksy’s Girl with Balloon, releases the Credit Suisse balloon—an image of loss, transition, and forced national restructuring. The work questions the future of mega‑banks, financial power, and public trust.
